Pre-Flight Checklist
Here are all of the things you need to have in place before you begin to ask people to sign up for an introduction event.
- Linkedin Banner - Promote the intro event on your profile background picture
- Intro Event Links - Add links to your Linkedin Profile
- Add one under your Headline text
- Add one under your about section
- Add one in the featured section of your profile
- Add one inside every weekly post
- https://www.fillout.com/ - This is the tool you will use to have people register for your event
- Create an account
- Create “Intro to Your-Event” form
- Get their name and email
- Ask a few questions after they enter their name and email
- https://www.youtube.com - This is where you will perform the live intro event
- Create an account
- Schedule your live event
- Intro Event Notes
- Plan ahead what you will say and show during the intro event
- Product/Service to Sell - Your job is to pitch the people who attend your event something you have for sale

These are all the ways I have been able to get people that do not know me to decide they want to register for my intro event.
Look for signals
Your job is to create the environment where people give you an opportunity to invite them to your intro event. You will know when they are ready to be invited when they show you a signal.
These are the signals you need to look for
- They leave a comment on your post/comment
- They 👍|❤️|💡 on your post/comment
- They send you a connection request
- They accept your connection request
Invite them to the Intro Event
- After someone shows you a signal
- Acknowledge the signal
- Thanks for connecting
- Thanks for the comment

- Invite them to the intro event

Create the Opportunity for Signals
These are all the actions you can take to generate signals.
- Post
- Comment on other people’s posts
- Send a connection request
Post Intro Event Registration
Once you have their contact info, you officially have a lead that you can contact outside of Linkedin.
- Create a calendar invite and add all of the email addresses to the invite
- Send reminder emails and include details of the intro event
- Pitch your product/service during the intro event
- Send an email after the event is over with the link to the recorded event
